You asked for it: Cake by the slice now available daily!

One of the best things about our new space is that it’s all ours. We have room to move, make our own schedule, and the display space to try new things. One of the most requested “new things” by our customers is that we offer single servings of cake and dessert for those times when a little is all you need.

As of today, you can consider that request granted as we have stocked the display with slices of Opera Cake and Carrie’s “Best Ever” Carrot Cake. Both are available for only $3.50 for a generous slice of cake, made from scratch with the same great ingredients we use in all our desserts. We’ll be keeping these two flavors in stock to begin with, and there will be a third slice of cake in rotation depending on the baker’s mood that day. Today their mood said double chocolate!

Cake-by-the-slice is only available in store, so stop into the shop at 2622 West Main Street for a nice slice, and a cup of Yellowstone coffee. What a great way to break up a shopping trip, or spend a few minutes with a friend who is always too busy for lunch!

Good morning Bozeman. Happy Thursday. The sun is up and so are the Sweet Pea Bakers. We started our day with a Banana Chocolate Walnut scone, which put is in the mood for baking cakes. Today we have four made-from scratch choices, so you’re sure to find just the thing for your weekend gathering. Choose from our decandent 7-layer Opera Cake, the more modest Vanilla Cake, or bring back memories of parties past with our “Best Ever” Carrot Cake or  a rich German Chocolate.

Two classics done right: Banana Cream tarts and Carrot Cake, today @ Sweet Pea

Special today at Sweet Pea Bakery in Bozeman, find two classic desserts done right!

We’ve baked up some of Carrie’s “Best Ever” Carrot cake, made with organic carrots, local flour and eggs. We grind the spices fresh for the best flavor, and finish it with a simple Cream Cheese frosting.

Right next to Carrot Cake in the display, we have one of life’s simple pleasures: the great taste of banana cream pie on our classic shortbread crust. We use a little dark chocolate ganache, some vanilla pastry cream and top it all off with organic bananas and fresh organic whipped cream. It’s just like you remember, maybe better!
