Here’s to the future: 1/2 price delivery to Montana State through May 10th!

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

It’s that time of year again. The snow is starting to melt a little between storms, the robins have returned to our backyards, and college students are looking a bit restless. And who can blame them? That last month of the school year is always the longest.

MSU and south Bozeman from Peet's Hill

Another sign of the season is the ringing of the Sweet Pea Bakery phone with
orders for treats for those anxious students. Usually, it’s their parents or significant other wishing to send their love across the miles. And we’re happy to help, sometimes making multiple runs per day to the dorms and offices of MSU.

We’ve always maintained that, whether they know it or not, MSU parents and loved ones are, collectively, our best customer. And this is the time of year we say “thank you” to that group by offering 1/2-price deliveries to MSU students, faculty and staff. Whether you are placing your first order with us, or your fifth, please accept a token of our gratitude with $5 deliveries to your favorite Bobcat. And if they live off campus, don’t worry. Just mention this article to receive the discount.

And, thanks again! We appreciate the business. Next time you’re in town, come visit; we’d love to meet you in person.

Forgot Valentine’s Day? Fear not! Sweet Pea Bakery is here to help.

You forgot again didn’t you? Hey, that’s okay, you join the other 95% of America that looked at the calendar this morning to realize you forgot to get something special for your sweetie. We can help. Sweet Pea Bakery is open now at 2622 West Main Street with a great selection of chocolate desserts, cakes and other fun treats.

Our flourless chocolate desserts are always popular, and they’re all dressed up for the holiday. Want to make a really good impression? Carrie is busy frosting Red Velvet cakes that will taste great with some wine after a romantic dinner for two. She also has some hand-made chocolate tulip cups setting up to be filled with light, rich chocolate mousse. We have some black-bottom tarts topped with fresh raspberries and white chocolate, and the fruit tarts are looking lovely with 3 types of fresh berries over made from scratch vanilla pastry cream and shortbread.

To be fair to everyone, we will be selling these treats on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, stop in soon and save the day. Your better half will be pleased with their treat, and they’ll think you have been planning for weeks!
